Developed embedded Linux solution based on ARM SoC to transmit power usage data via WLAN and mobile phones. Nearly single-handed developed and implemented solution for WLAN networks for a few hundreds people in Kristiansund for Nordmøre Energiverk creating one of the biggest (if not the biggest) WLAN infrastructures in Norway. Installed and configured FreeBSD and RouterOS acting as a PPTP and PPPoE gateways with Radius + MySQL backend to authenticate and authorize users wanting to access internet. Built, installed and administrated web and email servers (rack mounted, SCSI-RAID, redundant hardware) providing hosting solution for the users of the ISP. Built, installed and administrated NAT and rate limiting firewalls (rack mounted, redundant hardware) running FreeBSD. Responsible for supporting and administrating internal network of WRS – NetBSD, FreeBSD and Windows servers. Linux and Windows desktops and laptops.
