List of bugs and imperfections of Mvix Ultio:
First of all they sent me unit with American power connector knowing the unit will be shiped to Norway.

End User Related:

= Serious bugs which make Ultio crippled/unusable = 
1. You have to press play for each file in a directory (HD/USB/Network share) in order to play them 
- there is no "repeat all" function when playing files in a directory to continueously play files.
2. You can create only one single playlist.
3. You have to press play each time you want to play a file in the playlist (no continueos playing).
4. You cannot create a playlist for files on a network share.
5. You cannot create a playlist for files on an USB stick.
6. Suddenly I was unable to create new playlist or alter it.
7. Unable to format HD again when it alrady was in use, had to first reboot Ultio.
8. The system did not come back up when I formatted the HD. Had to pull off the power cord first.
9. Anemic network performance.

= Very annoying bugs = 
1. Ultio will never let you know if a HD is not found/recognized
2. Ultio will run format and quit immediately with no message when a HD is not recognized/found. 
3. Network/Samba shares of a server cannot be bookmarked individually, you can only bookmark entire Samba server.
4. Ultio cannot play DVDs from VIDEO_TS directories.
5. There is no "select all" option for files or directories when creating new playlist.
6. There is no "select all" option for files or directories when copying files.
7. There is a limit on how many directories one may select to copy. You can select only a few at a time.
8. There is a limit on how many files one may select creating a playlist. You can select only a few at a time.
9. You cannot install the modules without an internal drive.
10. New firmware has no detailed list of bug fixes.
11. There should be stable and development firmware.
12. The main menu should be changed. Start with Movies, Music, Plugins in main menu. Then each should have a sub menu to add sources (as in XBMC).

= Nice to have features =
1. New and better looking GUI!
2. Change font and font size of subtitles.
3. Set subtitle colour.
4. Add background to subtitles and chose a colour (as in VLC).
5. Sort directory and file names (from a to z, from z to a)
6. When browsing through directories and files, be able to type a letter or a number and show files and dirs starting only with that letter/number

== Plugins ==
1. Fetch CD and DVD covers.
2. Search imdb.com database.
3. Watch youtube etc.
4. Spotify plugin.
5. Weather forecast.
6. Search for movie teasers/trailers.
7. Embedded web browser.
8. Email client.
9. 3D screen savers when playing music.
10. Browse through directories showing images of CD and DVD covers.


Developer Related:

1. There's no available documentation describing system software.
2. There's no available documentation describing development tools.
3. There's no documentation describing APIs (are there any available?).
4. No info on how to create GUI skins.
5. No info on how to write plugins.
6. You can't get source code of software running on Ultio, just generic SDK.
7. There's no way to connect to the box over SSH/Telnet/RSH on newer firmware.
8. There is no active Mailing List/IRC channel/Web forum to discuss development.
9. New firmware has no detailed list of bug fixes.

So...what do they want people to work on...? Is MviX's open source claim nothing but smoke and mirrors?
